- Sub: Window Question
-
- Dear MacApp(R)s,
-
- I am having some problems with windows that don't belong to any document, but
- to objects within a document.
-
- Imagine the following: the user works with a document that contains several
- objects of the same kind, not every element contains the same value in a
- certain field. In order to display the fields of the element, the user can open
- the element, resulting in a TWindow belonging to that element. When, after some
- time the user doesn't want the window any more, he clicks in the close box of
- that window (or chooses close from the file menu).
-
- Question:
- The only thing that has to result from the close is the freeing of the TWindow,
- TFrame and TView objects. How can the close action be intercepted to do the
- things stated above? I have looked in the conference example but I didn't get
- any further.
-
- Any help would be greatly appreciated.
-
- Best regards, Joost Kemink
